What's inside
- Layer anything. Pick a few sounds and give each its own volume: steady rain with distant thunder and a crackling fire, or brown noise under a gentle sea.
- Rain that never repeats. Rain, thunder, waves, streams and aircraft cabins are built drop by drop on your phone, so you can choose the surface the rain falls on, how hard it falls and how far away the storm is.
- Real recordings too. Birdsong, forest, frogs, crickets, purring cats, trains, clocks and more, recorded by people around the world and shared under open licences.
- All night, screen off. Keeps playing with the phone locked, and loops without a seam.
- Sleep timer. Or let it stop on its own: pick 15 minutes to 8 hours, and the sound fades out gently over the last minute.
- Gentle on the battery. Sounds are prepared once, then played back as simply as a song.
- Nothing collected. No account, no ads, no tracking. Dreamdust works offline and never sends anything anywhere.

Common questions
The sound stops when I lock my phone. Check the ring/silent switch and the volume, and that Low Power Mode isn't closing apps. Dreamdust is built to keep playing in the background.
Does it need the internet? No. Every sound is inside the app or made on the device.
Does it cost anything? No.
